Jobbli's messaging system lets you communicate with job applicants directly inside the platform. You never need to share your personal phone number or email. All conversations stay within Jobbli, keeping both you and the applicant safe.
Each applicant gets their own conversation thread. You can see the full message history, the applicant's name, and the job they applied for, all in one place. No jumping between apps or losing track of who said what.
You'll see a badge on the Messages icon in your dashboard whenever a new message arrives. Unread message counts are shown on each conversation so nothing slips through the cracks.
Click the Messages icon in the left sidebar of your employer dashboard, or click "View All" from the Messages card on your home page.
All your applicant conversations appear in the left panel, ordered by most recent. Click any conversation to open it. Unread conversations are shown in bold.
Type in the message box at the bottom of the chat and press Send. Messages are delivered instantly. The applicant will be notified on their end.
Click the applicant's name at the top of the chat to view their full application, including their availability and any details they provided.
"Hi [Name], thanks for applying for the [Role] position! I'd love to set up a quick chat. Are you available this week? A 15 to 20 minute call works great."
"Great speaking with you! We'd like to offer you the [Role] position starting [Date]. Pay is $[X]/hour. Please confirm if you'd like to accept and we'll go over next steps."
"Thank you for your interest in the [Role] position. We've decided to move forward with another candidate for this role, but we appreciate you applying and encourage you to apply again in the future."
Good practice: Always respond to applicants within 48 hours. Teens are often applying to multiple places at once, so a fast reply helps you secure strong candidates before someone else does.
