How to talk to applicants inside Jobbli, plus message templates you can adapt for interviews, offers, and declines.
Jobbli's messaging lets you talk to applicants directly inside the platform. Neither side needs to share a personal phone number or email. All conversations stay in-app, keeping both you and the applicant safe.
Each applicant has their own conversation thread, so you can see the full message history, the applicant's name, and the job they applied for in one place.
A badge appears on the Messages icon in your dashboard whenever a new message arrives. Unread counts are shown on each conversation.
Messaging is unlocked the moment you mark an applicant as "Interested" on the Candidates page.
Scheduling an interview
"Hi [Name], thanks for applying for the [Role] position. I'd love to set up a quick chat. Are you available this week? A 15 to 20 minute call works great."
Making an offer
"Great speaking with you. We'd like to offer you the [Role] position starting [Date]. Pay is $[X] per hour. Please confirm if you'd like to accept and we'll go over next steps."
Politely declining
"Thank you for your interest in the [Role] position. We've decided to move forward with another candidate this time, but we appreciate you applying and encourage you to apply again in the future."
Aim to respond within 48 hours. Teens often apply to multiple places at once, and a fast reply makes a difference when securing the strongest candidates.
Email and in-app notifications can be adjusted from your Account settings if you want to reduce inbox noise.
